Why Playing with 3-D Objects (Like LEGOs) Is Important

A few months ago, when I realized my son spent a lot of time with LEGOs but less and less time playing with his sisters, I started LEGO Family Night.  I randomly filled several bowls with LEGO pieces, cleared the dining room table and called everyone over. I'm happy to report LEGO Family Night is a hit with the kids.  It is also nice for my husband and I to relax a bit and remember how fun it is to build stuff for the joy of it.
